Theresa's role as a dental hygienist at Poff Dental Associates is not just a job, but a lifelong passion. Her journey in dentistry began early, working in her father's dental practice during high school summers in Jackson, TN. This exposure sparked her interest in the field.
After studying at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, Theresa began her professional career in 1998, working alongside her father. In 2015, she moved to Nashville and joined Poff Dental Associates, where she continues to thrive.
Theresa's approach to dental care is not just about treatments and procedures, but about building strong, trusting relationships with her patients. She excels at ensuring patient comfort and creating a positive experience, always putting her patients' needs first. Her enthusiasm extends to her colleagues, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
When she's not caring for patients, Theresa is a health and fitness enthusiast. She enjoys all forms of exercise (hiking, biking, walking, yoga, lifting weights, etc.) and cooking delicious, healthy food. Something people may not know about Theresa is that she's a certified health coach, and she's currently studying to get her Certified Personal Training License.

Tammy, who runs the front office is a gem - very friendly, knowledgeable and kind and helpful. Brenda and Dr. Alwan saw me promptly and was able to do an extraction the same day. I feel like he was skilled and experienced in the surgery and it was done very quickly.
